State of Colorade Ebike Tax Credit

Kind Bikes and Skis is a Participating Retailer in the Colorado E-Bike Tax Credit Program!  Colorado Residents can now take $450 off their E-Bike purchase at the point of sale.  No waiting for your credit!

Here are the details:

Each person living in Colorado may receive the $450 discount on the purchase of one (1) e-bike from a participating retailer each calendar year. (Purchaser is responsible for paying the full sales tax on the bike, even if the discount exceeds the bike’s price.)

Proof of a physical Colorado address is required at the time of purchase. All documents must be dated within three months of the e-bike date of purchase. Acceptable proof of address documents include:

  • Current valid Colorado Driver’s License or ID
  • Computer-generated bill (utility, credit card, doctor, hospital, etc.)
  • Printed bank statement
  • Pre-printed pay stub (from a period within the last 3 months)
  • First-class mail (from a government agency or court)
  • Current homeowner's, renter's, or motor vehicle insurance policy
  • Mortgage, lease, or rental contract
  • Transcript or report card from an accredited school
  • Motor vehicle registration
  • USPS Change of Address Form CNL107
  • DD Form 214

Holy Cross Electric Bike Rebate

Get a $50 rebate when you purchase a new e-bike for running errands or commuting to work!

Two e-bikes per household limit. To qualify for the program, you must be an active HCE member in good standing, and intend to use the E-Bike to offset vehicle miles. To get your E-Bike rebate, complete the Holy Cross Electric online rebate application.

Edwards Metro District Electric Bike Rebate

Full Time residents within the Edwards Metro District's Boundaries (Proof of Address Required-Driver's License or Utility Bill) are eligible for a $200 rebate on an E-Bike purchase on a new E-Bike priced greater than $500.
Maximum amount of rebate is $200 per Bike / Limit two per household

Please note that Singletree and Arrowhead, although in the Edwards Zip Code, are not within the boundaries of the Edwards Metro District and are ineligible for the rebate.

Town of Avon Electric Bike Rebate


Full-time Avon residents are eligible for a rebate on E-Bike purchases for running errands or commuting to work.


Three different rebates are available:
New e-bike purchased in a store in Eagle County (minimum price $1,000): $400
New e-bike purchased online (minimum price $400): $200
Used e-bike (minimum price $400): $200

Town of Eagle Electric Bike Rebate

The rebate program launched on May 28th, 2024 and will close by December 31, 2024. 

Rebates will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
